Job Summary Company and :
This is a pivotal role for a qualified Chartered Accountant who thrives in complex, multi-country environments and has a proven track record working across all construction disciplines. The role will be based in South Africa, with travel to neighboring regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage financial operations across Southern Africa
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and risk management
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring processes
- Mentor and develop finance teams within the region
- Chartered Accountant - CA(SA) qualification (essential)
- 5-10 years' post-articles experience in finance.
- Previous experience in the construction or engineering sector is required
- Strong exposure to cross-border operations in other African countries
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across Southern Africa
