Responsibilities:

• Handle trade payables, including reconciliations and payment processing
• Manage fixed assets, maintaining the asset register and overseeing depreciation, disposals, and additions
• Perform stock obsolescence calculations and liaise with relevant stakeholders
• Compile month-end branch costing reports, analyzing discrepancies, and assisting in budgetary planning
• Collaborate closely with the Financial Director, participating in various financial activities
• Conduct full HR functions, from drafting employment contracts to conducting performance reviews
• Manage injury on duty reports and handle HR-related reporting to Group Accounting
• Oversee payroll functions, processing salary information, and reconciling related payments
• Maintain leave records and administer medical aid, pension fund, and group life breakdowns
• Prepare and submit statutory returns, including EMP201, EMP501, and others
• Efficiently manage job card schedules and related records

Requirements:

• Tertiary degree in Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt)
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and HR functions
• Strong financial management, accounting, and payroll processing skills
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (Sage Evolution, Pastel Payroll)
