Finance Executive – Ca(sa)
Job Description
We're looking for a hands-on finance leader who is as comfortable guiding a team through a reconciliation as they are presenting at Exco. This is a role for an experienced CA(SA) with the right mix of technical depth and commercial acumen, but just as importantly, the ability to nurture and upskill a small, dedicated team.
In a lean, semi-corporate environment, you'll sit on Exco and cover the full finance spectrum: from consolidations, budgets and IFRS reporting, to embedding ESG-related disclosure and driving process improvements. You'll work closely with operational teams, providing insight and proactive solutions that strengthen decision-making across the business.
Minimum Requirements:
- CA(SA) with completed articles
- 8+ years' financial experience, including 5-8 years in management (outside of audit)
- Strong track record in leading and upskilling teams
- Comfortable working in a lean, hands-on environment
- Ability to engage confidently at both operational and executive levels
- Exposure to mining, heavy industry, or asset-intensive environments is advantageous
