Job Description
Job Summary Our client is seeking a Finance Clerk to support the finance team with accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work across various areas of finance and gain exposure to both local and foreign transactions.
This role is based in Germiston, Johannesburg East.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing:
- Process local and foreign payments, receipts, and petty cash transactions.
- Capture and reconcile inter-bank transfers and overhead invoices in Acumatica.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Compile short-term cash flow forecasts and analyse bank statements.
- Prepare financial and creditor reports and ensure accurate data management.
- Handle queries relating to payments, reconciliations, and other financial matters.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory regulations.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting support role.
- Experience with ERP systems (Acumatica advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and communication skills.
