A fast-growing specialist digital marketing agency with offices in London and Cape Town seeks a meticulous and proactive Finance /Accounts clerk to join their Amazon Reimbursements team. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of processing financial claims, managing shortages, and ensuring that all recoveries are accurately tracked and recorded.
With your strong bookkeeping expertise, sharp eye for detail, and ability to interpret and analyse financial data within Amazon Vendor and Seller Central, you will play a key role in safeguarding client value. This hands-on position calls for persistence, accuracy, and the confidence to investigate discrepancies, ensuring our clients recover costs efficiently and effectively. This is a hybrid role/Part office part remote and the candidate can reside either in Centurion or Cape Town.
Responsibilities
Claims & Recoveries
Process Amazon reimbursement claims and track shortages, chargebacks, and recoveries.
Investigate discrepancies between expected and received payments.
Maintain detailed financial records of all claims and reimbursement transactions.
Financial Record-Keeping
Accurately record reimbursements, credits, and financial adjustments in ledgers and systems.
Reconcile client accounts against Amazon statements to ensure completeness.
Monitor outstanding claims and follow up until resolution.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarising reimbursements, shortages, and recovery progress.
Provide insights to the Finance Project Manager and clients on patterns in claims and recoveries.
Highlight risks, delays, or anomalies in reimbursement processes.
Compliance & Support
Ensure all claims and financial processes comply with internal policies and Amazon guidelines.
Support grant writers, project managers, and senior leadership with accurate reimbursement data for reporting.
Collaborate with the finance and operations team to optimise reimbursement workflows.
