My client, a JSE listed organisation in the telecoms sector, is seeking a strategic Finance Business Partner. The successful candidate will work closely with executive management and operations teams to optimise revenue, analyse cost drivers, and support strategic initiatives. Duties:
- Partner with operations teams to understand technical projects, network expansions, and infrastructure investments.
- Evaluate the financial viability of CAPEX projects, technology upgrades, and network initiatives.
- Analyse revenue drivers linked to technical services, customer usage, and operational performance.
- Identify cost optimisation opportunities within technical and operational functions.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models, dashboards, and management reports using Power BI and other tools.
- Extract and analyse data using SQL to provide insights for decision-making.
- Provide strategic advice and financial analysis to executive management to guide business strategy and investment decisions.
- Qualified CFA or CIMA
- At least 10 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience as a Finance Business Partner or a senior finance role in a technical/engineering-heavy organisation
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI for data analysis and reporting is preferred
