Job Description
Job Title: Finance and Cost Accountant in the Construction Environment
Requirements:
1. Valid Drivers License
2. Live within a 5km radius of Parow Industrial
3. Minimum of 2 year experience within the field
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Cost Analysis
: Analyzing the costs associated with various departments to identify areas for improvement & cost reduction2.
Budgeting & Forecasting
: Assisting in the creation of budgets & financial forecasts & monitoring actual performance against them3.
Financial Reporting
: Compiling, analyzing & reporting on financial data, including management accounts & various analysis, for internal stakeholders4.
Financial Controls
: Implementing & reviewing financial controls & procedures to ensure accuracy & compliance5.
Reconciliation
: Performing & auditing account reconciliations, including bank accounts & credit cards to ensure accuracy6.
Operational Support
: Providing financial insights & support to operational departments to enhance efficiency & manage costs effectivelySkills & Qualifications:
1.
Technical Skills
: A strong understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, financial analysis & budgeting is essential2.
Analytical Skills
: The ability to analyze financial data, identify trends & explain variances is crucial for success in this role3.
Software Proficiency
: Experience with accounting software & financial reporting tools4.
Education
: A National Diploma or Degree in Management Accounting, Auditing, Cost Accounting or a related field is required.Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: R18500,00 per month
