Finance Administrator - Cape TownFull job descriptionKey purpose of the roleResponsible for processing the accounts payable for the group. This includes processing and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments. Ensuring that the department meets all financial deadlines and provides excellent customer service to all stakeholders.Key outputs/accountabilityDispatching invoices, statements and supplier recons, ensuring there are no discrepancies.Processing invoices on sage on time to ensure that monthly deadlines are metProcessing and maintenance of cashbook in line with cashflow managementProcessing and maintenance of prizes adhering to the 30 working days prize payment timelineBank and credit card account recons accurately and on timeFixed asset maintenance including capturing additions and disposalsPetty cash card reconciliation and maintenance weeklyUpdate BBBEE certificates on the shared drive and ensure that monthly BBBEE report are compiled to ensure compliance and timeous decision making on procurement.Office physical and digital fillingAssisting with special projects when advised by the managerEducational qualificationsMinimum MatricRequired knowledge and experience1-2 years experience in financeRequired skillsMicrosoft excelMicrosoft wordSageAttributesGood interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a teamGood telephonic skillsAbility to deal in a professional manner with clientsAbility to meet deadlinesAccuracyTrustworthinessConfidentialityAttention to detailEnergetic and enthusiasmSuitable candidates will be selected in accordance with Primedia Broadcasting's Employment Equity Policy.
