Job & Company Descriptions:
An established organisation is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their Finance Department for a 3-month contract. This role is ideal for a self-driven, detail-oriented individual with previous accounting administration experience, looking to contribute to a dynamic finance team.
As a Financial Administrator, you will responsible for the following:

  • Prepare and capture supplier payments, petty cash, and reconciliations.
  • Manage banking documentation, including payments, transfers, and new payees.
  • Monitor bank balances and update the Financial Operations Manager on cash flow.
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations and maintain filing of banking records.
  • Manage petty cash, process journals, and assist with month-end processes.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts.
  • Update the Fixed Assets module and process depreciation.
  • Reconcile LPM and CEMS data, reporting and resolving variances.
  • Oversee stationery orders, consumables tracking, and stock checks.
  • Manage fleet and cellphone usage reporting, including expense monitoring.
  • Support compliance with company policies, Gambling Board regulations, and BEE reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
2 - 3 years' experience in accounting administration or processing.
Bookkeeping certificate (minimum) and studying towards Accounting/Financial Management qualification.
Sound knowledge of general accounting principles, fixed assets, and inventory administration.
Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and maintain high work standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
