Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Final Product Analyst to be based at the Delmas site. The successful candidate will report to the Area Leader in the Food Safety & Quality team.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The incumbent will be responsible for analysing, recording and monitoring the quality of final product and report on any deviations to the relevant managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sampling, grading and analysis of Finished Goods packed.
• Record all results on the system.
• Report on all Non-conforming Products and administer the retention process
• Reporting and Actions taken when product is non-conforming
• Assist with the preparation of product samples and water sensory samples for daily management review, positive release, visitors and competitor benchmarking.
• Drive and maintain a safety conscious attitude and behavior with colleagues as well as equipment. Minimize all workplace incidents and accidents and ensure that safety protocols are adhered to.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics/Biology/Sciences as completed subjects
• Preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma in Food Science/ Total Quality Management
• At least minimum 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role.
• Basic Good Manufacturing, Food safety and Quality knowledge
• Results orientated, resilience, drive engagement
• Good Computer skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• The incumbent will be required to fulfil other functions in the Quality Department.
