Job Description


Job Purpose:
As a Field Services Engineer, you will utilize your expertise to provide technical support and services to our network. You will work in the field, independently managing installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of telecommunications equipment and networks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to telecommunications equipment and networks, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
  • Design and implement advanced telecommunications networks and systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Conduct comprehensive site surveys and assessments to identify technical requirements for new installations and upgrades, provide detailed recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and protocols during field work, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and Industry trends.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, network architects, and vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in periodic on-call rotations to support and address urgent technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience in field services engineering, including installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment and networks.
  • Rigging, climbing and assembly install work in diverse site structures (buildings/ towers)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, with a passion for staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices
