An Exciting Career Opportunity Exists for a Field Service

Technician based in Northriding

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of Aesculap equipment, including power systems, instruments, scopes and containers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This is a permanent position based in Northridng.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform upliftment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Aesculap equipment, including power systems, instruments, containers, and robotic microscopes. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment maintenance and repair. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Provide training and support to ASE's and other team members as needed. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:

N6 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent will be an advantage. Professional certifications in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485 will be an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

Quality Assurance Equipment Troubleshooting & Maintenance Process Improvement SOP adherence. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
