Skill Requirements:

Tertiary Diploma or Degree , Automation / Electrical

Siemens TIA /Step 7 Programming, B&R experience. essential

Packaging Fast line experience, Conveyor, Shrink wrappers, Palletizer.

The main objectives of this Position as Automation Field Service Engineer is to operate under the scope of Ocme SA and their Product range.

: Tasks and Job requirements:

Electrical Knowledge

Mechanical knowledge

Fault finding on Packaging equipment electrical & mechanical.

Siemens S7 - Ability to fault find/trouble shoot and modify accordingly (advantageous)

Siemens TIA Portal - Ability to fault find/trouble shoot and modify accordingly (advantageous)

B&R - fault finding on Hardware modules (X2X, Powerlink networks) (advantageous)

Fanuc Robots - Electrical knowledge(advantageous)

Basic Profibus, ethernet and profi-net network understanding

Danfoss drive knowledge.

SEW drive knowledge.

Available to work standby.

Computer proficiency with basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office etc.)

Solid logic and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks depending on urgency.

Willingness to travel extensively throughout Africa with possible trips overseas.

Ability to communicate clearly with customers in both spoken and written English.

Good customer service skills

Trade test certificate

Covid-19 fully vaccinated (alternatively weekly test at own cost)

Provide timely, detailed reports on service performed and machine performance.

Troubleshoot and diagnose faults of new & existing equipment.

Provide expert troubleshooting/maintenance advice and training to operators and maintenance staff.

Perform extensive preventive maintenance, audits and service on OCME machinery.

Assist with Installation and Decommissioning of new and existing Machines.

Pay: R35000,00 - R45000,00 per month
