Field Service Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) - International Travel

Field Service Engineer

with strong skills in

PLC programming

electrical and mechanical systems

pneumatic components

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning:

Set up, configure, and optimize

compressor systems

at global client sites.

Technical Troubleshooting:

Perform fault diagnosis,

root cause analysis

, and corrective actions on mechanical and electrical systems.

PLC Programming & Controls:

Modify and troubleshoot

PLC programs

(e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and

HMI interfaces

to ensure optimal system functionality.

Pneumatics:

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot

pneumatic systems

and control circuits.

Preventive Maintenance:

Carry out

scheduled maintenance

using

technical drawings

and

manufacturer guidelines

to reduce downtime.

Safety & Compliance:

Work in

food-grade

and safety-sensitive environments following

ISO

and general

site safety rules

.

Customer Support & Training:

Act as the face of AF Compressors on-site--supporting clients, providing operator training, and ensuring satisfaction.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate

service records

, job cards, and detailed client reports.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years' experience in

electro-mechanical maintenance

,

field service

, or

automation engineering

Proven ability in

fault diagnosis

,

troubleshooting

, and

root cause analysis

Proficiency in

PLC programming

(e.g., Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley) Strong understanding of

pneumatics

,

electrical circuits

, and

mechanical components

Willing to travel extensively--up to 70% (domestic & international) Valid driver's license and passport Strong communication and customer interaction skills Comfortable in

food-safe

or clean-room environments

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in

Electrical

,

Mechanical

, or

Mechatronic Engineering

Trade-tested technician or relevant certification Experience with

SCADA

,

control panels

, or

diagnostic tools

Hands-on experience with

industrial compressors

, pumps, or similar machinery
