Field Sales Representative (Hospitality) (CBD, Cape Town) R20K - R25K PM + Benefits

Prepaid airtime & data vending, recharge solutions company is seeking a Field Sales Representative to join their team in Cape Town.

The purpose of this role is to take an active role in driving sales within the geographical area of Cape Town and surrounds. The focus being on hotels and guesthouses. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of customer service and experience in dealing with guest houses and hotels. The candidate will be responsible for signing up these institutions and servicing the same on regular call cycles set out by head office.

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate / Grade 12
• Valid driver's license and vehicle ESSENTIAL
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English is ESSENTIAL
• A minimum of 4 years' experience as an External Sales Representatives in the hospitality industry is essential.
• Sales driven.
• Well-spoken and presentable
• Well-groomed and customer oriented with experience in dealing with hotel managers and guest house owners.
• Able to work under press and target driven.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction with accuracy and professionalism while servicing outlets
• Take opportunities for add-on sales to customers
• Assist in the resolution of customer complaints
• Respond to and direct where necessary, customer enquiries related to services
• Provide coverage and assistance in all areas of the business where customers require such assistance
• Ensure accuracy of product display in the outlets by spot checking whilst on call cycles
• Follow proper customer order procedures including special and pre-paid orders
• Monitor customer stock levels and maintain front-desk merchandising areas as assigned
• Has a complete understanding of all company policies and procedures related to this position, as outlined in the training checklist
• Maintains the company's dress codes required
• Identifies and communicates suggestions for improvements in all areas of the business.
