Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Field Guide for a luxury safari getaway situated in a prestigious Big Five reserve in Hluhluwe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and passionate guide to join a respected team, delivering exceptional safari experiences in a world-renowned conservation area.
Minimum Requirements:
FGASA NQF Level 2 qualification
Apprentice Trails Guide certification
Valid First Aid certificate
Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Minimum 1 year of guiding experience in a Big Five environment
Tracker Level 1 certification (minimum)
PFTC Rifle Proficiency
SAPS Rifle Competency
All other legally required guiding certifications
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct guided game drives and interpretive bush walks with professionalism and safety
Engage with guests to deliver personalised, informative, and memorable wildlife experiences
Demonstrate strong knowledge of flora, fauna, and conservation practices
Host and interact with guests before, during, and after activities
Ensure all equipment and vehicles are maintained to high standards
Adhere to reserve regulations and lodge protocols at all times
Assist with lodge operations and contribute to the guest journey where needed
Package Includes:
Salary: R7,000 - R7,500 (negotiable depending on experience)
