Key Responsibilities:

Lead guests on game drives and guided bush walks, offering holistic and educational wildlife experiences
/p
/li

p
Follow all safety and operational procedures for individual, family, and kids' safaris
/p
/li
li
p
Deliver informative and engaging interpretive talks and wildlife tracking demonstrations
/p
/li
li
p
Ensure outstanding guest interactions, including orientation, hosting, and personalized service
/p
/li
li
p
Assist Safari Management with departmental operations and field guide mentorship
/p
/li
li
p
Practice responsible weapon handling and comply with FGASA standards
/p
/li
li
p
Support lodge emergency protocols (medical, fire, flood, evacuation) when needed
/p
/li
li
p
Contribute content to lodge social media platforms, promoting conservation and wildlife awareness
/p
/li
li
p
Maintain and oversee all safari vehicles, equipment, and assets in working condition
/p
/li
li
p
Collect and communicate guest preferences to Management for a personalized stay
/p
/li
li
p
Address and report guest concerns or complaints promptly
/p
/li

Minimum Requirements:

NQF4 Trails Guide Qualification
/p
/li
li
p
ARH and Rifle Proficiency
/p
/li
li
p
Valid First Aid Level 1
/p
/li
li
p
Valid Driver's License with Pr-DP
/p
/li
li
p
Prior experience as a Field Guide at a luxury safari lodge
/p
/li
li
p
Sound knowledge of FGASA standards and guiding best practices
/p
/li
/ul
