Candidate Requirements:

  • FGASA NQF2/4 Theory complete.
  • Practical assessment complete.
  • SAPS Competency certificate needed.
  • Valid NDT registration required.
  • Valid PrDP license essential.
  • Valid First Aid certificate held.
  • Previous Field Guide or conservation research experience.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); mapping program experience a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
  • Positive, passionate, responsible attitude.
  • 4x4 and off-road driving experience.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse people.
  • Excellent organization, punctuality, commitment, precision.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, flexible.
Responsibilities:
  • Game drives.
  • Bush walks.
  • Guest hosting.
  • Monthly reports.
  • Reserve and general maintenance.
  • Informative presentations.
  • Key species monitoring.
  • Data collection.
  • Security assistance.
  • Willingness to assist all departments.
This is a live-in position. 42 days on, followed by 14 days off.
