A Bachelor's degree Agriculture, B-Degree in Entomology, Agronomy or Horticulture.
A Master's degree or relevant certifications in production management or lean manufacturing would be advantageous.
At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or senior operations role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the agriculture
Proven experience in managing production processes, staff, and resources in a high-volume production environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality control processes, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and act decisively in a fast-paced environment. In-depth understanding of production processes machinery, and operational best practices.
Solid understanding of inventory management, procurement, and supply chain processes. Proficiency in production management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to analyze production data and generate actionable insights to drive improvements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving production goals and maximizing efficiency. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Proactive and able to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
