Job Description
Wartburg Area - KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Mechanic to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified diesel mechanic and or trade test certificates
- Agricultural background / experience preferred
- Extensive repair and maintenance knowledge of farm equipment
- Must have a high level of energy with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Must be fluent in English
- Ability to speak Zulu advantageous
- Valid drivers license
- Maintenance and repairs on all machinery (bigger repair jobs will be sent to engineering companies)
- Servicing vehicles
- Maintenance of poultry houses and equipment
- Possibly:
- Assist with labour and possibly set up of tasks for labourers
- Calibrating Agric machines
- Assist with cane operation,
- Assist with chicken i.e. vaccinations, house checks etc
- Assist with cattle i.e. dipping, branding etc
