Job Description
An established farming business located between Laingsburg and Ladismiith has the above vacancy. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Take responsibility for all production processes
- Handle and utilize the administration related to production to promote efficiency
- Apply good farming practices
- Add value to the growth of the business
- Manage subordinates optimally
- Be willing to apply scientific farming practices
- Verantwoordelikheid te neem vir al die produksie-prosesse
- Die administrasie wat verband hou met produksie te hanteer en te gebruik ter bevordering van effektiwiteit
- Goeie boerdery praktyke toe te pas
- Waarde toe te voeg t.o.v. die groei van die onderneming
- Ondergeskiktes optimaal te bestuur
- Bereid wees om wetenskaplike boerdery-praktyke toe te pas
- Relevant agricultural qualification
- At least 5 to 8 years stone fruit experience
- Love and a feel for livestock and cash crops
- Proven experience in people management
- Administrative skills with good computer fluency
- Extensive knowledge of modern farming practices which should include orchard establishment, pruning, tree manipulation, irrigation etc.
- Toepaslike landboukundige kwalifikasie
- Ten minste 5 tot 8 jaar steenvrugte ondervinding
- Liefde en aanvoeling vir lewende hawe en kontantgewasse
- Bewese ervaring t.o.v. mensebestuur
- Administratiewe vaardighede met goeie rekenaargletterdheid
- Meerdere kennis van moderne boerdery-praktyke wat boordvestiging, snoei, boom-manupilasie, besproeiing ens moet insluit.
