Vacancy: Farm Manager
Camphill Village West CoastCamphill Village West Coast, a dynamic community supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, is seeking a
skilled and experienced Estate Manager
to oversee the daily operations of our farm and estate.Key Responsibilities:
Manage and care for our herd of Jersey cows, ensuring high standards of animal welfare.
Oversee agricultural and horticultural activities across the estate.
Ensure all health and safety protocols are implemented and adhered to.
Supervise, guide, and support staff members in their daily duties.
Maintain and manage all estate infrastructure, farm equipment, and vehicles.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications and proven experience in dairy herd management.
Strong background in agriculture and horticulture with 5 years experience.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in an agricultural setting.
Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Drivers license with own vehicle.
