Farm Business Manager - MpumalangaReference: 8995 NBConsultant: Nine Broodryk:Plan finances and labour to meet production outcomes and maintain farm progress against budget parameters.Develop and implement appropriate programme per field, per crop on all growing aspects in consultation with Technical Advisors, Consultants and Management, adjust accordinglyPlan, action, orientate and monitor outcomes of production plan and adjust to meet with crop performance and quality resultsProcurement of all material and equipment within set budgets are monitored, approved and deadlines met to meet production requirements and ensuring effective asset management and controlOversee the establishment and implementation of maintenance plans of all equipment to ensure high levels of production maintainedDevelop and evaluate stock control management throughout farm to minimize losses and maximize asset usage for effective production operationsEvaluate and develop appropriate climatic risk management strategies to minimize loss of property and lifeEvaluate and develop appropriate logistics plan to meet all operational requirementsEvaluate and develop estate management needs and prepare annual estate management plan to ensure each production area meet required standards as per Legislation and Audit StandardsEvaluate and develop an effective security management strategy to eliminate risk to property and personMonitor and enforce all health and safety measures according to legislation and company safety plan.Evaluate and establish customer specifications and growing forecasts to establish strategic plans to meet customer needs.Adhere to and implement food safety compliance standards as set out by the relevant auditing authorityRelationship building with all relevant stake holders to ensure best resultsQualifications:Relevant Tertiary qualificationAt least 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a senior manager in agriculture including management of a large workforceExperience in a horticultural environment and/or substrate farming would be an advantageExcellent planning and project management skills and experienceFinancial acumen, including budgeting and financial controlsPossess excellent leadership, organisational and communication skillsHow to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to exceedhr@exceed.co.za.If you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered in order to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
