Factory Supervisor
Job Description
We're looking for a hands-on, technically inclined person who's either worked with injection moulding, extruxion or welding. We need someone who's not afraid to get their hands dirty and jump in wherever the team needs help. You'll be expected to take initiative and lead by example, even though formal supervisory or management experience isn't required.
You'll need to understand that breakdowns can happen and call-outs are part of the job from time to time. Production runs will set the pace, so flexibility with working hours is key -- although it's normally a 12-hour shift day shift, sometimes you'll be needed for longer hours if production demands it.
If you enjoy getting stuck in, and understand the fast-paced world of production, this might be the perfect role for you.
What We're Looking For:
Technical experience in injection moulding, extrusion or welding. Willingness to work hard and take initiative Comfortable with the demands of a busy production environment. Flexible and reliable -- you understand that breakdowns happen, and you're ready to help out, even if it means longer hours from time to time. Good mathematical ability
