Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven

Factory Manager

to oversee the full operational, financial, and administrative performance of the soybean crushing plant. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on engineering, technical and managerial experience in oilseed processing or a similar heavy industrial environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, engineering, quality control, and safety. Drive plant performance to meet or exceed production targets, yield, efficiency, and cost objectives. Ensure optimal operation of all plant components, including:

Boiler house

operations for steam generation

Silo management

and raw material logistics

Hulls grinding

and handling

Preparation plant

for dehulling and conditioning

Solvent extraction

and oil refining

Lab

- quality control, compliance, and technical oversight

Weighbridge

accurate, efficient, and compliant operation

of theweighbridge system, which is critical for managing incoming and outgoing materials Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance KPIs. Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Implement continuous improvement and preventative maintenance strategies. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team; foster a high-performance culture. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies as needed. Oversee and manage staff and labour

Desired Experience & Qualification

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Process), Agriculture, or related discipline. Minimum

10 years

of industrial experience, with at least

5 years in a leadership role

within an oilseed crushing or similar processing plant. Strong knowledge of plant utilities, mechanical systems, and process operations. Proven track record in managing safety, quality, and production in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
