Factory Manager Urgent
Job Description
Job Summary You will be responsible for the following: Supervision and monitoring of factory operations Cost control: Raw material & Wastage (expenses vs budget) Staff: Two shifts, 5 supervisors and managing of overtime Management and communication to ensure that supervisors, operators and labourers understand the requirements of the daily tasks which have been assigned to them Capturing and reporting of daily progress OHS management ensuring the factory is managed in safe manner Planning & casting as well as lane stripping Running of an 18-hour operational factory Qualifications and Requirements: Matric South African Citizen At least 10 years' experience in construction and construction management Knowledge of concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel and pre-tension steel Knowledge of mechanical equipment including batch plant, saw cutting machines, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point) Strong communication skills Strong administrative skills Dynamic team leader Deadline driver Accurate working under pressure Fully bilingual or native in Afrikaans and English Own transport is non-negotiable
