Factory Manager
Job Description
Job Summary Our client is a family-owned leader in the construction industry. Due to their exponential growth they are currently looking for a FACTORY MANAGER - Manufacturing and Production experience required. The position is situated at their plant just outside Durbanville. This position will suite an energetic go getter, who will be able to run an 18 hour operational factory with a staff compliment of 50 people, 6 days a week. In order to secure an interview, you need the following: Excellent knowledge of concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel and pre-tension steel. 10 years relevant experience in a similar role at a reputable construction company. Preferred knowledge of mechanical equipment including concrete batch plant, saw cutting machines, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes. Proficiency using MSWord and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other computer software. Staff Management / Supervisory experience in a factory environment. OHS knowledge and experience in a factory environment. Cost control experience with raw material and wastage Experience monitoring factory operations to ensure productivity, quality and safety.
