As the Factory Manager, youxe2x80x99ll be the go-to person responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the factory. Youxe2x80x99ll need to have 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in a feed or feed mill factory. Yep, that exposure is essential!

So, what will your responsibilities be? Youxe2x80x99ll be handling everything from daily planning and production to recordkeeping and reporting. Youxe2x80x99ll make sure the raw material levels are sufficient and of only the best quality. Keeping the place spick and span is important too, so good housekeeping skills are a must.

Youxe2x80x99ll also need to rock at people and performance management. Efficient cost management and maintaining operational quality and service levels are on your to-do list. And letxe2x80x99s not forget about managing capital budgets and projects. We know youxe2x80x99re up for the challenge!

What qualifications and skills should you bring to the table? Wexe2x80x99re looking for someone with a National Diploma in Operations Management or a similar tertiary qualification. Extensive knowledge in pellet press technology is a huge plus. And of course, management experience is key!

Youxe2x80x99ll need to be self-driven and a team player. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential. Accuracy is your middle name, and youxe2x80x99re a pro when it comes to using Microsoft Office. Having your own transport and a valid driverxe2x80x99s license is a must too.
