Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Facilities Manager to maintain a safe, functional, and inspiring school environment at Lion Pride Academy. This role supports the school's operational effectiveness through strategic facilities oversight and project coordination.
Facilities Manager responsibilities are:

  • Lead maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Monitor risk and implement emergency protocols.
  • Manage facilities budget and procurement processes.
  • Support events with logistics and venue readiness.
  • Explore sustainability and facility rental initiatives.
Facilities Manager requirements are:
  • Matric with proven experience in facilities operations.
  • 5+ years' relevant experience; trades or project skills are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of building, safety, and maintenance systems.
  • Budgeting, procurement, and contractor oversight skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and service-minded.
  • Clear criminal record required.
