Facilities Intern
To support the effective operation of facilities through contractor coordination, administrative support, and procurement assistance, while gaining practical exposure to facilities management and building operations.
Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic understanding of facilities operations, maintenance, and service coordination.
Key Competencies:
  • Ability to manage facilities-related administrative tasks, including records and reporting.
  • Attention to detail when overseeing contractor activities and work outputs.
  • Ability to coordinate and liaise effectively with contractors and service providers.
  • Confidence in communicating and engaging with suppliers for quotations and service delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
General:
  • Preferably: RSA Citizen
  • Preferably: Youth
Education:
Preferably: Studying towards or completed a qualification in Facilities Management, Built Environment, Engineering, Property Management, or a related field
