Introduction



We are looking for a driven, energetic and positive minded External sales representative to strengthen our team in Johannesburg We strive to build good relationships with customers , so if you consider yourself a "people's person" that is good at building relationships, with great sales skills and knows how to seal the deal, you would fit right in. The position would entail Site visits to establish the clients needs in order to present products and see through the full sales process so being handy with a tape measure and knowing how to calculate square meters is essential. You will also be assisting walk-in clients when in the office , call in clients as well as incoming leads with some cold calling for potential new clients. We are looking for an individual who is motivated , organised , energetic , well-spoken , well - presented and eager to close deals and increase revenue. This person would work with clients to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. Person should have own vehicle and will be provided with an allowance.

Duties & Responsibilities



Conduct site assessments where required and requested by our clients Cold calling to establish potential clients Travel within sales territory to meet customers and potential prospects Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients Compile quotes along with drawings (training will be given). These are to be sent to prospective clients so knowing how to compile well written emails is crucial. Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on existing / Incoming leads. Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities. Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information where required. Keeping up with product and service information and updates. Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers. Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services offered. Staying informed about competing products and services in order to have negotiating abilities. Upselling products and services. Researching and qualifying new leads. Closing sales and achieving allocated sales targets Have a basic construction understanding, however, this is not a prerequisite Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.

Requirements



Matric Qualifications Own Vehicle and drivers license Ability to travel within territory Previous measuring/construction etc experience ( Not mandatory )
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R10000,00 - R20000,00 per month

Experience:

Sales: 2 years (Required) Measuring/Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
