Are you a driven External Sales Representative looking to grow your career in the industrial sector? Our client, a leading provider of refractory supply and installation solutions across Africa, are seeking a results-oriented professional to drive new business and expand market presence for our ceramic and refractory products.



This role includes regular travel to customer sites, building strong client relationships, promoting technical solutions, meeting sales targets, and providing valuable market feedback.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities: prospect for potential new clients in sectors such as steel, glass, ceramics, cement, petrochemicals, power generation, foundries, etc. Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers. Understand customer needs and technical requirements; recommend the most appropriate ceramic / refractory products or systems. Present product specifications, strengths, limitations; provide technical advice and support. Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, presentations, and negotiate terms. Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators. Conduct regular field visits / site inspections to assess applications, resolve issues, demonstrate product performance. Gather market intelligence: track competitor activity, pricing, new materials / technologies. Collaborate internally to ensure orders are fulfilled, products delivered on time, quality standards met. Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and feedback to management. Attend trade shows, industry conferences, customer training sessions as required.

Requirements:

2-5 years of sales experience in the Ceramic products Industry Good communication, negotiation, presentation skills Ability to travel frequently, sometimes to remote or industrial sites; valid driver's license; reliable vehicle * Self-motivated, target?driven, able to work independently in the field
