Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
Identify and establish contact with potential new customers.
Visit existing client base at their office and on active construction sites.
Generate revenue by obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information.
Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers.
Answering telephone and email enquiries (this includes prices, quotes, issues), using the provided company cell, some phone calls might require after hours communication
Develop accounts by checking customers buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
Follow Company procedures: capturing sales orders, checking allocations, printing picking ticket and confirm with operations regarding any special delivery requirements
Following up on project critical backorders and communicate with operations all stock concerns.
Attend industrial trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers.
Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
Recommend marketing strategies to increase revenue
Assist clients whenever needed to ensure The Companys reputation grows from strength to strength.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Matric
2 - 3 years' experience in a similar role
Valid Driver's License
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
General knowledge of electrical industry and cable management systems.
