External Sales Representative xe2x80x93 Building Industry - Exports Market.

Location: Kempton Park

Salary: R30 000 - R35 000 Basic plus Pension, Medical Aid, Fuel card, car allowance and Commission.

Duties:

• Ensure increased customer awareness and maintain/increase market share.
• Ensure optimal growth by providing excellent customer service.
• Meet and improve annual budgets xe2x80x93 inherent requirement.
• Client queries are responded to timeously.
• Deliveries are followed up on whenever necessary.
• Written (typed) quotations are provided to customers.
• Customers are visited on a regular basis.
• Frequent calling on customers (visits).
• Assist tender pricing when in office.
• Analyse customer needs by reporting on calls made to customers and submitting them to the Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
• Check material availability when quoting
• Assist in maintaining customer pricelists and customer database.
• Assist with the monthly material forecast.
• Assist customers with cutting lists / drawing office requests.
• Assist with credit applications and rep reports for the debtorxe2x80x99s department.
• Assist with the resolution of customer complaints.
• Assist customers with technical info, brochure and installation procedures.
• General admin / perform own filing.
• Assist with additional tasks as requested by management from time to time.
• Uphold the companyxe2x80x99s code of ethics.
• Ensure excellent customer service to clients.

• Matric Certificate
• Valid Driverxe2x80x99s licence is essential.
• Computer Literacy is essential (MS Office)
• A minimum of 5-10 years of Sales Rep/Technical sales experience is essential.
• 3-5 years export market sales experience is essential
• A Relevant Sales/Technical Engineering diploma/degree will be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good knowledge of reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
• Must be able to actively negotiate and communicate with all customers.
• Sound knowledge of the South African roof sheeting industry is preferred.
• A good understanding of the building industry will be an advantage.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to do extensive travelling.
