Position Overview: - Experience in electric motors only will be accepted
The External Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving sales of electric motors and related products. This role involves actively engaging with customers on-site, understanding their needs, presenting appropriate solutions, and working closely with internal teams (Warehouse, Technical, and Finance) to ensure successful delivery and after-sales support.
Success in this role requires excellent communication, strong technical understanding of electric motors, and the ability to build long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation & Customer Acquisition
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
Conduct client visits to understand project requirements and present product solutions.
Promote the full range of electric motor products to industrial and commercial clients.
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Act as the main point of contact for key accounts.
Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Knowledge & Consultation
Advise clients on product selection based on technical requirements.
Provide detailed information on specifications, performance, and application of electric motors.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
Sales Administration & Reporting
Prepare quotations and proposals based on client needs.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM or internal systems.
Submit weekly/monthly sales reports and updates to management.
Coordination with Internal Teams
Liaise with the Warehouse team to ensure product availability and delivery timelines.
Work closely with the Finance department on account setup, credit terms, and invoicing.
Communicate customer feedback, delivery issues, or product concerns promptly.
After-Sales Support
Follow up on deliveries to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Assist with product returns, exchanges, and resolving technical issues in coordination with internal support teams.
