Job Summary
An established plastic manufacturing company is seeking the skills of External Sales Representative to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in external sales, preferably within the FMCG or plastic manufacturing sectors, and be proficient in Sage Evolution. This role is ideal for a sales professional looking to drive business growth and build lasting client relationships.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- 6-8 years of proven external sales experience
- Industry experience in FMCG or plastic manufacturing preferred
- Proficiency in Sage Evolution is essential
- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned regions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Conduct regular client visits and product presentations
- Negotiate pricing and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service delivery
