Job Summary Sourcing new business through cold calling, networking and research etc. Servicing existing client needs and growing accounts and identifying sales opportunities Marketing current and new products and educating clients on the products Demonstration of equipment and consumables to clients Attend to requests and queries from customers, including pricing Address complaints and product quality issues Prepare quotes and follow up to close sales Development of annual sales and marketing strategies, assist with development of marketing material Manage client information on the CRM system Working with sales teams in other areas of the company to develop sales pipelines Technical product support and training to clients Attend industry expos, conferences and other networking events Attend product training from suppliers Give presentations at conferences etc. Reporting Bachelor of Science Degree and experience with gas/liquid chromatrography / mass spectrometry Proven sales record Valid drivers licence, own vehicle an advantage Able to travel regionally (Gauteng) and to KZN & WC from time to time Professional communication with excellent verbal and written English skills MS Office Suite Attentive to detail, pro-active, team player
