Independent Contractors

to assist with

online marking responsibilities

across various modules in the

Humanities

Faculty

on a part-time contractual basis.

Payment is based on the

number of scripts marked

, according to a

sliding scale

based on module level (Level 1, 2, or 3).

Training

will be provided to ensure consistency and adherence to marking standards.

Minimum Requirements



Requirements:




Qualification:

Relevant Honors qualification in the field of Humanities

(Perferrably in Industrial Psychology; Social Sciences; Psychology and Linguistics)

, as per the specific subject matter areasto be graded listed below

Relevant subject knowledge

in Humanities.

Strong attention to detail

to ensure fair and consistent assessment.

Computer literacy

(essential for online marking and administrative tasks).

Ability to meet strict deadlines

(non-negotiable).

Team player mindset

with good communication skills.

Hybrid work agreement

will be dependent on subject allocations - external markers may be required to collect / mark paper-based assessments at the allocated Eduvos campus

Duties and Responsibilities



Key Responsibilities:




Marking online scripts

via the Learning Management System (LMS).

Accurately recording and submitting marks

on the LMS.

Geographically Restricted Modules (Paper-Based or Online Marking):





The following modules will require online marking:


Industrial Psychology 1B

Abnormal Behaviour 3B

Cultural Studies

Personalities Theory 2B

Linguistics 1B
