We are seeking a highly driven Export Sales Manager, with Telecommications industry experience, to lead our Sell-In, Sell-Through, and Sell-Out strategies for vivo devices in selected African markets, including Botswana, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, and other neighbouring countries. This role requires a proven track record in mobile device or telecom sales, with the ability to develop strong business relationships, expand market share, and deliver on ambitious sales targets across multiple territories
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive Sell-In, Sell-Through, and Sell-Out of vivo devices across assigned African territories.
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned to regional market conditions.
Achieve sales targets through proactive customer engagement and channel development.
Negotiate and secure high-visibility placements for POSM in retail outlets.
Develop and maintain relationships with key distributors, retailers, and partners.
Manage channel sales performance by monitoring stock levels, pricing, and promotional activities.
Identify and onboard new business partners within the target markets.
Provide sales forecasts and market insights to management.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and competitive positioning.
Represent the brand at trade events, exhibitions, and business meetings.
Ensure compliance with brand merchandising and display standards in all retail environments.
Provide product training to distributor and retail staff.
Offer after-sales support by handling escalations and ensuring timely resolutions.
Communicate product updates, promotions, and market initiatives to stakeholders.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in mobile sales within the telecommunications industry
Proven experience in African market sales with an existing client network.
Fluent in English
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent understanding of the African sales and distribution landscape.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to different market environments.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license.
South African passport holder with valid South African identity document.
Willing and able to travel across neighbouring countries.
