Export Sales Manager Construction ~ FMCG / Food & Bev /Agri ~ Manufacturing
Johannesburg East, Johannesburg - Gauteng - South Africa

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for all aspects of export sales into Sub Sahara Africa, including business planning, market research, sales strategy development, and execution of sales plans for assigned markets. This full-time role will require some remote work, travelling regionally and internationally.

To define, gain acceptance for and deliver sales and contribution targets to maximise export performance in line with company and global objectives and strategy. You will need to manage and focus on export sales through existing and new market sectors, driving product leadership propositions and maximising customer satisfaction in full cooperation with other business functions, notably when it comes to implementing sales growth innovations.

Essential Qualification, Experience and Skills required

• Experience in all aspects of importing and exporting, including customs regulations, shipping, logistics, and documentation, plus a very good understanding of Incoterms, Tariff Codes and Freight procedures.
• Degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing Management or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of solutions and/or consultative sales experience in Construction, Building, Plumbing or Agriculture in Sub-Sahara Africa.
• Advanced Office - Excel, Sales Flash, PowerPoint skills.
• Matriculation certification to include English and Mathematics.
• Must have a valid passport and legally be able to travel regionally and internationally
• International Drivers Licence
