COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries. They are looking for an Export Coordinator to join their Cape Town team.
JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing documentation
- Coordinating shipments
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of export transactions and updating relevant systems
- Ensuring all export activities adhere to relevant regulations and procedures.
- Providing clear and timely communication to internal teams and external clients regarding shipment status and any issues
- Matric
- Relevant qualifications / training
- Minimum 4 years' experience in import and exports
- Knowledge of the Ecos system
- Knowledge and understanding of meat processing an advantage
