We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Machine Shop Artisan

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least

10 years of experience

in machine shop operations, with hands-on expertise in machining, troubleshooting, maintenance of Machine Shop equipment.

As an Artisan in our machine shop, you will be responsible for creating high-quality products, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Must be proficient in all aspects of lathe work, horizontal and vertical boring. Perform precise measurements and ensure that workpieces are produced to specification. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety regulations. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to meet production goals and quality standards. Ensure the proper handling and care of materials and tools used in the shop. Train and mentor junior staff as needed. Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience

working in a jobbing machine shop. Proven expertise in operating and maintaining Lathes, Milling Machines and Borers. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and schematics. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Solid understanding of safety standards and the ability to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in machining is a plus. Experience with CNC programming is highly advantageous.
