WE ARE HIRING

We are seeking an energetic, creative Commis Chef.

Must be able to work independently and manage day-to-day kitchen operations



Strong understanding of food safety, portion control, and menu execution required.



Immediate start preferred.



PROFESSIONAL COOKERY CERTIFICATE OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.



Job Requirements:

Matric advantageous; Relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality is advantageous; 3+ years Chef/Cook experience within a medium to large corporate company is essential; Ability to work flexible hours; Neat and presentable; Good communication skills
Personal Attributes:

High level of personal cleanliness; Sober habits; Able to manage time and work under pressure; Able to remain calm and in control in difficult situations; Able to adapt to changing role responsibilities when required; Flexible in terms of working hours (shifts & weekends) Job Type: Full-time

Candidate must arrive in full chef uniform (jacket, pants, apron, non-slip shoes, head covering)

Candidate must be prepared to work the full shift

Hands-on assessment in live kitchen environment

Ability to follow instructions, prep efficiently, and maintain hygiene standards

Attitude, communication, time management, and teamwork will be assessed

Basic knife skills, station setup, cooking execution, and cleaning must be demonstrated
