About the Role
VA Central is growing, and we're looking for a confident and driven
Appointment Setter
to join our internal sales support team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for reaching out to prospective clients, introducing them to VA Central's virtual assistant services, and booking qualified meetings for our sales team.
You'll be the first point of contact for potential partners - playing a vital role in showcasing our professionalism, building relationships, and helping us expand our client base.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily outbound calls to prospective clients in the UK.
Introduce VA Central's services confidently and clearly, focusing on how we support businesses with remote staffing solutions.
Qualify leads and schedule high-quality appointments for our sales team.
Follow up on warm leads via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
Manage and update all outreach activity in the CRM system.
Achieve daily and monthly targets for calls, leads, and booked meetings.
Provide reminders and coordination support to ensure meetings take place smoothly.
Work closely with the Sales Team to refine outreach messaging and improve conversion rates.
What We're Looking For
Strong communicator - confident, clear, and engaging over the phone.
Proven appointment-setting or lead-generation experience (ideally 2-3 years).
Self-motivated and target-driven, with excellent follow-up discipline.
Positive, personable, and professional attitude.
Comfortable using CRM tools and LinkedIn for prospect outreach.
Coachable and proactive - eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced team.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or appointment setting.
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding performance targets.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple conversations efficiently.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Hardware Requirements
Computer or laptop with stable performance.
Reliable
ADSL/Fibre internet
(minimum 50 Mbps).
Headset
compatible with VOIP systems.
Anti-virus

UPS/Backup power
for load shedding.
