Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in senior kitchen roles in a
4- or 5-star hotel or resort
Strong background in menu development, food costing, and kitchen management
Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
Deep knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment
Highly organized, with great attention to detail and quality control
Creative, with a passion for evolving menus and guest experience
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food innovation
Supervise all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, timing, and presentation standards
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to build a high-performing culinary team
Monitor food costs, inventory, procurement, and waste control to achieve profitability
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols
Collaborate with other departments (front office, events, banqueting) to ensure seamless guest experience
Step in to oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
