A leading security provider is seeking a qualified and experienced Executive Protection Officer to provide close protection services to a high-net-worth individual. The candidate will be based in Cape Town but must be available to travel nationally as needed.
This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in protecting VIPs, skilled in security and driving, and who wants to work in a trusted, fast-moving environment.
SKILLS & CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina
- Advanced driving skills across all conditions
- Strong communication (verbal & written - English required)
- Quick decision-making under pressure
- High discretion, confidentiality, and integrity
- Emotionally composed in stressful situations
- Professional appearance and interpersonal conduct
- Self-disciplined, independent, and confident
- Experienced with high-net-worth or VIP clients
- Calm under pressure and physically presentable
- 2-4 years in close protection or private security
- Strong preference for VIP driving/protection experience
- No criminal record; must pass background checks
- Fit for duty: pass medical and physical assessments
- Good vision and hearing essential
- Relevant certifications will be considered an advantage
- Valid SA driver's license
