Qualifications, experience, and skills:

Master's degree in civil, mechanical, industrial engineering, physics, or related fields
At least 10 years' experience in RDI and commercialisation industry or leading research and technology organisation (RTO) at a senior management level
Doctoral degree would be a preference
Business Management qualification would be advantageous
Experience of strong people management and organisational development skills
Evidence of high-level stakeholder management, transportation industry related networks
Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
Leadership of diverse RD&I teams
Strategy development and implementation
Policy development and implementation
Proven track record of successful IP commercialisation
Ability to understand, integrate, and provide technical leadership across all domains
Ability to provide thought leadership and high-level conceptualisation
Ability to work independently as well as in teams
HCD implementation and capacity development
Business development
Financial acumen
