About the position:

We are seeking an

Executive Head: Internal Audit

to lead our internal audit and forensic investigations function. This is a strategic leadership position that places you at the heart of risk management, organizational integrity, and governance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Audit:

Design and drive the Internal Audit strategy and annual plan Advise executive leadership and the Audit Committee on risk, controls & governance Ensure compliance with IIA Standards and regulatory requirements Build and maintain strong internal control frameworks Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing audit team

Forensic Investigations:

Lead investigations into fraud, misconduct, and irregularities Develop and execute robust forensic audit protocols Partner with legal, compliance, HR, and external agencies Safeguard sensitive information with absolute discretion Deliver clear, actionable investigation reports to senior stakeholders

Requirements:

B.Com in Accounting, Finance or related field

CA(SA)

required |

CIA

or

CFE

certifications are a strong advantage 10+ years in Internal Audit, including 5+ years in a leadership role Expert knowledge in corporate governance, risk, and control environments Proven proficiency in audit technologies and data analytics A confident communicator who can influence at all levels
