As the Executive: Data Management & Analytics, you will drive the organization's data and analytics strategy from the top -- ensuring that data becomes a trusted, strategic asset across all business functions.
You will:

• Lead with vision -- Shape and execute a unified data and analytics strategy that delivers measurable business impact.
• Champion governance and compliance -- Enforce enterprise-wide data definitions, lifecycle management, and ethical data practices.
• Orchestrate innovation -- Integrate trusted datasets and analytics output directly into business processes for smarter, faster decisions.
• Partner with technology leaders -- Influence IT and infrastructure investments to build scalable, high-performing data ecosystems.
• Inspire excellence -- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data professionals while embedding a culture of data-driven thinking across the organization.

Who You Are:
You're a visionary data leader who understands both the strategic and technical heartbeat of modern data ecosystems.
You combine the precision of a technologist with the foresight of an executive -- able to translate complex analytics into competitive advantage.
You bring:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or technology within financial services, insurance, or telecommunications -- with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• A proven mastery in Azure Synapse, SQL, metadata management, and enterprise data integration.
• A strong understanding of South African data governance and compliance.
• A record of building teams, shaping strategy, and delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions.
