Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate reporting of all cross-border transactions in line with the Currency and Exchanges Manual (including BOP reporting and IFTR) within the stipulated timelines
- Facilitating all exchange control applications to the FSD
- Liaising with the FSD, facilitating inspections, and ensuring full compliance with all applicable legislation
- Guiding and advising business departments on exchange control matters
- Accurate completion and submission of the B12 reports to the FSD
- Well-established relationship with the FSD
- B Com Financial Management / Accounting
- 8 years' experience in an Exchange Control Position working for an Authorized Dealer
- 5 years of Banking experience
- Only South African citizens will be considered
- Proven track record of managing an Exchange Control Department
- Be able to work under pressure
- Decisive and be able to unpack complex transactions
- Sound understanding of Exchange Control Rulings as they apply to a Bank
